Feature Request: implement fix for LibrePods (Apple AirPods)

We got a request to add a fix needed to have LibrePods work correctly. Obviously this is most effectively implemented at the LineageOS level, but just noting it here as a request, possibly we would consider it before LineageOS.

It would be possible to implement in IodéOS the fix needed by LibrePods ( GitHub - kavishdevar/librepods: AirPods liberated from Apple's ecosystem. ) to make Airpods work on Android?

Google is just ignoring the request at this point but I think it would be a very appreciated addition considering the number of +1 in the official IssueTracker (Google Issue Tracker)
